Benefits

  • Full-time University of Iowa Security Officers operate the mini-bus at all times and never check IDs.

Downtown Route

Schedule: Friday, and Saturday: 10.00 pm – 3:00 am

Pickup Location: The intersection of Clinton St. and Washington St. just south of the Pentacrest.

Drivers reserve the right to refuse service to passengers. Passengers who are too intoxicated to stand or walk on their own or are vomiting on the bus will not be tolerated. A $100 clean-up fee for bodily excretions may be charged to a passenger.

Academic Route

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 pm to 3:00 am

The Academic Route is available on call.

Academic Route will pick up women riders at any UI academic building (with the exception of residence halls), parking lot or ramp and transport within the specified boundaries below. See a boundary map here.

Boundaries

The boundaries of Nite Ride stretch from Summit Street to the east, Hawkeye Park Road to the west, Highway 6 and Melrose to the south, and Highway 6/Foster Road to the north.

Disability Accommodations
