Project UV
The UI Police developed Project UV to provide a marking system for valuables such as textbooks, laptops, mp3 players, and other electronics. It only takes a few minutes to have an officer mark your belongings with an invisible marker that is only viewable by UV light.

To have your valuables marked
1.) Contact Crime Prevention Specialist (319-335-5043) or the Lost and Found Dept (319-384-2797) to schedule an appointment.
2.) Have your valuables marked when you move in to your residence hall the first week of school.
3.) Make sure you have your student ID on hand
