Crime Alert 16-14

In the interest of campus safety, we want everyone to be aware that....

On November 9, 2016, University of Iowa Police received a report from a resident of an east side residence hall. The report stated that, at about 2:00 a.m. on November 8, 2016, the resident awoke to find an unknown male in the room. The next day, a roommate noticed dresser drawers had been opened and things had been moved, but nothing was taken. There was no sign of forced entry into the room. The subject was described as tall and skinny.

UI Police strongly encourage all residence hall occupants to lock their doors at all times and to report suspicious activity immediately by calling 9-1-1.
