Do your part to prevent bike theft

The University of Iowa Police Department has recently received a number of reports about bike thefts on campus.

Though our department is investigating these reports and tracking this issue closely, we thought it might be a good time to remind students, faculty, and staff about a few ways they can be part of the solution by locking their bicycles and taking other preventative measures.

NITE RIDE Boundaries Adjusted

To improve the safety of our students and after an examination of our ridership statistics, the boundary of NITE RIDE will change so the southern boundary of the service will be Benton St. and Kirkwood Ave. running west to east. This is to reduce long wait times for our students due to buses traveling to far away, off campus locations. We apologize for any inconvenience.
