On Wednesday, Sept. 6 at approximately 7:15 a.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the north patio of the Stanley Hydraulic Laboratory, 320 S. Riverside Drive, for a report of an unconscious or possibly deceased male on the patio. Upon their arrival, first responders confirmed the man was deceased.

Based on the preliminary investigation and assistance from the Johnson County Medical Examiner, the death is not believed to be suspicious. The person is not a current student or employee, and this incident did not pose a threat to campus safety.
